14th Annual Cotter Trout Fest - May 1 and May 2, 2015
The Cotter Trout Festival is always a sure bet when it comes to fun, food, appealing music and entertainment. The Festival is held in Big Spring Park and allows an opportunity for Cotter citizens and the surrounding region to come and enjoy a fun filled day along the White River. This year’s Community wide festival Kicks Off Friday evening with music, mingling and a meal. The 7th Annual White River Artists competitive “Quick Draw” takes place in Big Spring Park from 4:30 – 5:30 and we can all enjoy their creative results as we share a meal, music and another performance of Cutthroat Trout…the Gypsy Jazz Band that wowed everyone last year. Saturday starts off early with Vendor set-up at 7 a.m. – (Vendor application below) followed by the best hometown parade anywhere. Be sure to check out the Kids’ fishing whole, fly-casting demonstration with North Arkansas Fly Fishers, Festival Food to die for…auctions, Classic Car Show, and live music throughout the day. Relax, unwind and enjoy the wide variety of educational exhibits and unique vendors displaying of art, jewelry, photography and unique handmade crafts. Vendors, don’t delay.
